Marching Forward with Purpose: Celebrating Women’s History Month at The HUB!

March has been nothing short of inspiring at The HUB! As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we’re honoring the strength, resilience, and power of our community through intentional, restorative, and engaging activities.

We kicked off the month with a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, a dynamic collaboration with the Trenton YMCA that brought together youth for a day of teamwork, competition, and community-building. The energy was electric, and the sportsmanship was unmatched!

Next, we embraced literacy and imagination with Dr. Seuss Storytime and Movie Day, a heartwarming partnership with Divine Kidz Academy. Seeing young minds light up through storytelling and creativity reminded us how powerful it is to nurture the next generation.

And we’re just getting started! Here’s what’s still to come:

  • Healthy Relationships Workshop for Males – Equipping young men with the tools to build strong, respectful relationships.

  • Barbershop Conversation – A safe space for real talk, connection, and mentorship.

  • Pathways to Power Career Event for Females – Uplifting and empowering young women with career guidance, inspiration and networking.

  • Women’s Umoja Circle – A restorative gathering to celebrate, heal, and empower through sisterhood and shared experiences.

Every event this month is designed to build connection, foster empowerment, and create lasting impact. At The HUB, we believe in the power of community and the importance of holding space for growth, healing, and transformation. We've also opened up the rsvp for our next Restorative Justice trainings.

We’re grateful for our partners, youth, and supporters who make this work possible. Stay connected and join us as we continue to uplift, restore, and celebrate all month long!
