Hello September: A Restorative Start to a New Season

August ended on such a high note for the Trenton RTJ Hub and CCC community. We were honored to be recognized by the Trenton Thunder during their S.L.A.M. Week, Supporting Local Admirable Missions. Over 50 of our CCC/Hub family came out to the ballpark, filling the stands with joy, laughter, and community pride. The night was made even more special when our very own Executive VP, Kahreem Cunningham, and one of our HUB participants stepped onto the field to throw the ceremonial first pitch. It was more than a game; it was a moment of togetherness that created memories we will carry with us for years to come.


Now, with September unfolding, we are locking in with intention, ready to build on that momentum. This month brings new opportunities for growth, healing, and empowerment:


Work Readiness Pilot Launch – We’re excited to partner with The WorkWell Partnership to introduce the, From Restoration to Occupation pilot program that equips participants with tools, skills, and confidence to thrive in the workplace.

Slammin Brew Collaboration – In recognition of Suicide Awareness and Recovery Month, we are partnering with Slammin Brew for something very special, stay tuned!

Community Mural Event – On Friday, September 26th, we’ll gather for a live mural reveal experience. This collaborative artwork will symbolize healing, unity, and community resilience. Once complete, it will stand as a lasting testament to the power of collaboration and restorative practices here in Trenton.
